Peter Rizzotto is the owner of the Peter J. Rizzotto Company. 40 years experience in every facet of the Custom Upholstery Profession has made him proficient in all aspects of this great industry.

He began his career in the Upholstery Business at the age of 15, working after school in a local upholstery shop in Brooklyn. In his Twenty’s he headed off to Manhattan and got his first full time job working with Ted and Henry Urban at the Henry B.Urban Company and worked there for 10 years. He started there as a Mechanic on the bench and quickly worked his way up to Tufter and thereafter was promoted to Foreman. He then went to work with Michele DeAngelis at the Thomas DeAngelis Company as Foreman for another 15 years until he opened his own shop in 1993.

At the Peter J. Rizzotto Company, we are dedicated to our long standing tradition of using "Old World" methods to produce the finest "Double Stuff-Custom Down Filled Furniture" and "Old World Finishings" on our Draperies.

We invite both designers/architects and their clients to visit both our showroom and workroom so that they may examine the process for themselves. We use fine hardwood frames, all hair filling, best quality down and all hand stitching. Since we employ the best skilled craftsmen, the highest quality product is produced.
